SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 12
(By Senators Holliday and Brackenrich)
Congratulating Webster Springs Junior High School for winning the
1992 central West Virginia athletic conference girls'
basketball championship.
Whereas, The Webster Springs Junior High School girls'
basketball team ended its season with an impressive record of
eighteen wins and one loss; and
Whereas, This is the first central West Virginia athletic
conference championship title for the Webster Springs Junior High
School girls' basketball team; and
Whereas, Team members include: Amy Bickel, Jamie Tanner,
Jill Alsop, Candy Cowger, Jenny Mustoe, Samantha Clutter, Crystal
McCourt, Kristen Reed, Jenny Alsop, Erin Hivick, Christa Stanley,
Sherry Armentrout, Valerie Bennett, Sherry Hall, Shawnda Hatley,
Andrea Curtin, Kristie Hanna, Stephanie Clark, Amy Hall and
scorekeeper Susanna McCoy; and
Whereas, The team is coached by Delmas McCoy; therefore, be
it
Resolved by the Senate:
That congratulations are hereby extended to Webster Springs
Junior High School for winning the 1992 central West Virginia
athletic conference girls' basketball championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward copies of this resolution to members of the team, the
team's coach and the principal of Webster Springs Junior High
School.
